I think the aggressive "M look" front and rear facias are good looking without faking it's an "M".

Or, you could go counter culture, badge it a 525, and at all the looks you'll get when you blow off other iron with all that under-wraps V-8 power!

I specifically went with an ACS Front Lip because #1 its way less money and #2 it doesn't look like an M5. Next, I will do the side skirts Mtech because they are just plain hot and keep the rear end stock. Those 2 mods alone make the car looks so much sportier and sleek its amazing, (without looking like an M5 at all and more like a nicely modified BMW).

I looked into MANY cars before deciding this one. To name a few: LS430, M3, CLK55 AMG, S4, 7 series, E500, S55 AMG, SC430, A6, etc. Out of those the S55 impressed me the most. I put a deposit on it brought it home, did some research on reliability, and gave it back the next day lol. Very unreliable car from what I've read but boy was it a blast to drive. Finally I decided on a very clean CPOd 545 sport.

I love the M5 styling. The mods I was thinking of doing was the M5 fender vent and quad exhaust. I dont want to pass it off as a M5 or anything but just think the E60 looks amazing with those. I would debadge the trunk and take off the M5 logo from the fender vent. Do you guys think it would be tacky to copy M5 styling?

Heres a pic: First mod is getting some nice staggered rims.

Congrats on your new ride. Don't worry about what others think about what mods you want for your car. Its not THEIR car, its YOURS and if you feel happy to install a Honda spoiler if u feel its super, then go ahead and do it. You didn't (and most certainly I didn't as well) buy this marque so that I should mod it to make others happy and thus feel "accepted".

Go ahead and install the full M5 styling, I have it too, the full works from fenders to M5 brakes to the quad exhausts. And yes, I even have the shadow M badge (without the numeral "5") and proud of it. Don't like it, don't look at it..my motto for my 5er.

congrats on the new car. time for some modding! has the mod bug hit yet? honestly, u can do anything to ur car as long as u like it. I think it'll look great as long as u dont put the m5 badges on it. It's like an S430 putting a S600 V12 AMG badge on it which makes absolutely no sense or even a Nissan putting a badge that says VTECH (my god....ever see that? It's even spelled wrong!) Keep it clean, and enjoy the car.

Congrats on the car. Do what you think you like on your car. Lots of folks will have different views but it's your car so...

I, for one, never really liked the M5 look actually. I dig the fins on the side, the side skirts, the wheels, but not the front and back (front : big gap that I didn't like that much and the rear...well.. at least it's better than the M-tech one that looks like a duck's behind to me) lol.... Just wasn't to my liking. So I didn't do it.
