BMW_Group_Sales.pdfBMW Group vehicle sales this June increased a minimal 2.7% over sales last June. YTD sales for the first 6 months of 2006 were up 8.6% based primarily on sales increases for the 3, 5, and 7 Series.
Sales of the X Series decreased 24.5% this month while car sales were up 12.8% when compared to last June.
Sales of the BMW brand were up only 3.4% this month when compared to June, 2005.
Total Mercedes Benz sales of 20,802 units this month represents a 14.0% increase in sales when compared to the total of 18,242 sold last June. YTD 2006 sales for MB are also up some 16.5%. MB trucks were up 74.6% in June and 97.9% YTD when compared to the 6 month period of last year. This improvement in MB truck sales is due to the introduction of the R Class and GL Class which were not available last June.
Lexus sales totaled 27,686 units this June, up 6.3% over the 26,043 sold last June. YTD sales were also up 6.2% for the first half of 2006.
