June sales of the 5 Series were up some 24.3% when compared last June. YTD sales for the first half of 2006 were also up 19.0% over the same 6 month period of 2005.
By comparison, sales of the Mercedes-Benz E Class were up an insignificant 0.2% with sales of 4,213 units this month and 4,205 units last June. Sales of the MB E Class were up 1.4% for the first half of 2006.
Please note that I report only United States sales data.

Thanks, as always, Fred.
It is interesting that the 550 has not sold as well as the 545 did in previous years.
June 2006 YTD 550 = 3,803 units
June 2005 YTD 545 = 4,751
June 2004 YTD 545 = 4,611
So maybe the 1,891 YTD M5 sales have taken away some 550s.
