Not a pleasant result but , " One month does not a year make "

Yeah, but as the press release spins it, it was an "expected" downturn and by the end of 2008, they expect to be ahead of the 2007 final numbers...

With such a large negative growth you have to conclude several factos are in play, ie fewer sales days , model depletion,etc they also mentioned low inventory available due to record December sales......... I'll wait to see if this is a trend at the quarter............ and you're not going to respond to the Frudy tag ??? I thought that was quite clever !

My Ride: Living in Germany as an expat, this is the perfect opportunity to own the car of my dreams. I bought a new BMW E560 Individual in April 2007 and I have been in love with my M5 ever since! Where else can you experience the acceleration, speed and fabulous performance of this wonderful German engineering, but on the German Autobahns (almost with immunity for high speed as long as you slow down when there are limits). Fastest so far has been 293kmph (183 mph) but my M5 has much more left...I will get it to the limit of 330kmph (205mph) or more yet! Problem is it makes me want to drive everywhere possible at any oppotunity and I am rackng up the kilometers!

Interesting there is a downturn showing in US. I spoke to my dealer rep this week (to bookj my car in for service). He told January was his best month ever selling BMW's since he started 6 years ago...says he sold 28 vehicles, just one guy at a BMW factory dealership in Frankfurt. Not sure the downturn has hit Europe yet...or if it even will!
