It?s here and in true Germanic fashion perfectly on time; first thoughts after 600 miles:

I think I-Drive is Okay!, except trying to tune the radio without RTFM, too excited

Auto Wipers and lights seem to get confused , no dash display to say if lights are on?

Torque on 525d is great compared to previous 320d

Lack of Auto dimming mirror frustrating (may try the retro fit)

First tank averaged 32mpg, second tank showing 38mpg so far!

Ride on run flats is still better that 320d except for cats eyes

Only problem so far was that an aftermarket car phone installation (See pic) has triggered an air bag / restraint warning and disabled the I-drive menu button! , booked back into the dealer for resolution next week, all to be paid for by phone installer!

Pics of old and new attached (sorry for the MB lurking in the background!)

It looks good. First car I have seen with basic AC. It is different. Good call on Titanium trim though.

Enjoy Your new ride lotusdmc!

There is actually signal light when auto wipers are on, but it easily hides behind steering wheel. Light is next to the switch and it's very small green light.

... and when your headlamps are on, the dashboard also lights up. They work 'together'.

Congrats!!

Yep that was a bit of a surprise as it does less that the standard climate control on the e46 SE !!, no auto filter facility, no auto rear demister when below 3 degrees, and no quick windscreen demist (take with one hand give with the other.....ie cup holders )

They seem to be coming on in daylight (low sunlight) when I can't see the dashboard light up either , I only notice when in traffic with their reflection onto the car in front, I've read previous posts on this one though, and the dealer did say this may happen.
