I have the BMW MOST iPod adaptor and have no problems playing songs back from my ipod. I recently got an iTouch so I thought I'd bring this over as well and listen to some stuff in the car.

To my chagrin...the device is not recognized by the adaptor. Anyone else have this issue??????

kind of hit and miss on the itouch/iphone thing. Try reseting idrive with the touch hooked up. It should work then.

Nothing here to help you out. But guys, it's an iPod Touch, not iTouch. No such thing as iTouch.

Actually correcting a mistake like that does help out others (although not necessarily the OP but this forum is for the community, not one poster). Obviously if someone in the future searches the forum about MOST and the iPod touch problem, he won't find it if a poster can't even use the right name for the device he has.

Hmm..so seems if there's a lot of post whores here... Rather than correcting syntax - anyone have issues with similar iPODS????

I tried to reset the iDrive and it didn't work. Do you plug your iPhones into the iPod adaptor at all? Does that work for you?

I have plugged both iphone and Ipod touch and ipod classic. Sometimes the iphone works and sometimes it doesn't. Try launching the ipod app and then plugging it in.
