I'm a bit foggy on all the various compatibility dates, etc. these days but I think you can get it only if you have a CD changer or the pre-wiring for it. You're not able to get the newer USB/iPod interface, just the MOST bus interface that sort of emulates the CD changer to the car...

Ethan, it is. I had it installed some time ago in my Jan '04 build 545, works great. Can be done on cars with or without NAV. 6-Disc changer also not a requirement. If you don't have the changer, the cost will be a bit higher for the additional wiring harness needed to make the connection. The attached link to a PDF file explains most of it...
