Ok did a search the only thing that comes close to my problem is Alex's cd skipping, but he didnt mention downshifting or upshifting.

While Im driving in 3rd gear if I shirt down to 2nd my music pauses, I dont lose power to anything else.
My lights dont flicker and my radar stays on. I did get my radar hardwired recently, but it is using the power from the
cigarette lighter. When I select sport mode it will pause when I upshift, the pausing only happens at high rpm's.

Really confused on what it can be?? Also my car is SMG.
