IPOD - BMW does not make IPOD Kits?

Does anybody knows if we order from GARY Newport IPOD Kits, it is not OEM IPOD Kits? right? Right now the dealer is charging me $700 labor+part+tax BUT I called the Sound Solution store and it charging me $300 and they said if you install @ BMW Dealership, is not an OEM IPOD and there is never have been a OEM IPOD Kits...is that TRUE?

But BMW sells it as a IPOD OEM Integration kit.
