If the dealer is giving you the runaround then call up BMW USA and they can tell you the options installed on your car.
Good luck. I wish that I could retrofit this option into my 2006 530i.

So guys, is still didnt get an accurate answer.
Can this be retrofitted? How do I know if i have that option? Can I have reprogrammed?
Can someone give me a link in the US where to buy this Iphone Craddle for the Iphone 2G. The link that dandle gave(thx dandle) is in the UK and doesnt ship. He is selling locally.
Appreciate if anyone can chime in and help
