My Ride: 535i

This is my first post...

I just bought a 2008 535i and am having issues with the connection to my iPhone. I originally understood that the USB connection would power the phone however I am getting an "unsupported message." Is this an issue with the connection or potentially with my 3G iPhone?

Thanks. I will certainly look in the phone section.

I am using the center console connection, and obviously need to do a little more research.

Appreciate the point in the right direction.
