My battery appears to be draining when the car is switched off. Unfortunately, it does it intermittently so the dealer is having trouble finding what it is.
Any ideas anyone? It's a 2004 530D Touring.

Sounds like a module or something isn't allowing the car to go to sleep properly. Did the dealer look to see if any error codes are logged?
On my 2008 car, I had a similar problem and it ended up being a bad shifter (the electronic kind). The replaced the part and everything was good again.

Just make sure you have ABSOLUTELY no aftermarket products in your car. They will surely blame it on that.
