interior lights

hello

i'm posting this thread up again as i still have nit got them working.

basically the reading lights front (next to sunroof), the reading lights in the rear, lights under the sun visor and the boot light dont work anymore. i cant seem to locate the fuse for them. any ideas

this seem to happen after new software upload, but the dealer said it has nothing to do with it.

can anyone help me out

Check your tools box which have the fuse diagram. Properly location 11,27 in mine. Good luck just fuse blow. Otherwise, should be the light module unit not work fine after software update.

is there any way of checking the light module, do you know where may be located......tell you truth i think it may be loose connection somewhere as sometime when i open the door the lights come on for a milli second but then turn off!!damn

As far as I know Light module behind the grove box.

first try fuse. then try swapping a unit with a fellow e60er and see if it lights up

did you try pushing and holding the middle button for 5 (or more) seconds. If they were de-activated this way, this is how to re-activate them....I think, there is something about this in the manual....

tried holding switch for 5 sec, but this didnt work............any other ideas? ANY ONE KNOW WHERE THE MODULE MAY BE LOCATED

That sounds just like the problem I have (see http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=78352).

I'd be very interested if you get it sorted (I've phoned the local dealer, the dealer who did the last 3 services [they say they didn't do any s/w updates] and an inde - none of them had come across the problem).
