Interior Colours - Amethyst

Undecided on an interior colour to select. In Canada, one interior colour option is Amethyst which looks pretty good on the BMW web page "build you own BMW" ... wondering if anyone has their own pictures of this interior colour they would share with us so that I could see it better ... thanks in advance

[/quote]Thanks ... I looked at all of them on your gallery ... I too am looking at the comfort seats ... btw, what colour is on the back of the comfort seats and what colours is on the rear window seal ... is that dark grey, amethyst or back?

Why is this not an option for the US? I like the lighter color leather... what I really like is the two tone black and amethyst on the door.
3 out of 4 leather options in the US are monotone... doesnt have the nice contrast of "two tone" interior... (reason I went with Auburn) the only one with the two tone contrast. If Amethyst was available in the US that would have been highly considered...
WHY ONLY 4 color options in the US? thats so little!! I can never understand BMW NA...
Edit: OMG!!! I just went to BMW Canada and they have SOoooooooooo many more options than we do in the US... what the heck?? They can mix and match a lot more stuff than what the BMW USA configurator allows too... Like on the US we cant get Auburn with Silver Gray but Canada can!

That Amythest looks like it would be hell to keep clean.
Kinda like my brother's old Gray seats on his 1999 M3. Those looked great until they started showing dirt in the grain. And you couldn't clean them once that happened.

Can anyone with Amythest comment? Looks great but does it keep its clean look?
