In a prior posting I showed the install of the Multi-Function Comfort Seats to replace my standard seats. I bought black seats and installed them in my beige interior car.

The next step was to change the color from beige to black on some door panel pieces, the top of the center console and the rear seats. To accomplish this I used Surflex. I have used this product before in one of my Porsches and highly recommend it. Unfortunately, I only ordered one 8 ounce can and ran out. I still need to do the driver's side doors and the finish detail work.

But, the below photos give you an idea of where I am going.

I remember when you switched to comfort seats. Those rear seats look great in black now.

How long does Surflex last before (if ever) it starts to have noticeable fade?

Came out nice. I like the contrast. Maybe BMW should think about these interior color combos...

looks nice, might want to think about ditching the wood trim now that you have a more sporty look.

That looks nice man, great job. from your last thread i got the impression you were going for two tone seats, like beige sides and black down the middle. but this looks good too.

Very unique look.
Maybe even "Individual"

I do agree that darker trim to replace the wood ... maybe CF? Any plans for that yet?
