Intake removal help, PLEASE!!
 

I have search the world over and can't find help on this matter.
I replaced the starter on my 06 530i n52 engine, I couldn't remove the intake all the way and some of the ccv hoses broke as they were brittle.
I replaced with regular pcv hoses but I want to get the right ones and I want to remove the intake completely and replace the gaskets.
It developed a rough idle after the starter replacement.
Any suggestions, help would be greatly appreciated.

I need a removal procedure or a tutorial on how to remove the intake and all of the wires in the way.

Remove air filter box, and remove intake pipe up to throttle body,
Remove cabin filters and the the surrounding plastic trim, remove strut tower brace (at least the drivers side one),
Remove nuts and bolts on the top of the intake manifold (near the fuel rail),
There are two small screws on the bottom of the manifold (near the drivers side engine mount) that attach harness bundle to the manifold. Remove those two screws and detach the harness bundle from the manifold.
Then pull top of intake manifold towards the drivers side, disconnect the oil separator hose at the valve cover (near the firewall).
Then you may need to undo the power cable to the starter (it's a good idea to disconnect battery negative cable before you do this step).
Then reach down and disconnect the oil separator hose that connects to lower oil pan.
Intake manifold should be free (as you go along this procedure, you will be disconnecting several cables. It'll be a good idea to label them to make it easy to remember where they came from.

The red arrows in the second picture are pointing at the bracket that holds the wiring harness to the intake manifold at the bottom.

Thanks pcy, the issue I had when I replaced the starter was removing that harness, I wasn't able to so I had to prop up the intake and work under it, what a pain! some of the ccv hoses were very brittle and broke.
