Hi all! Just to share this experience...I'm dropping off my car at my dealership for an Instrument Panel Glitch. Not sure what the fix or repair is other than a replacement much less a better understanding of the cause.

Anyway, it occurred last weekend on the way up to Atlantic City, having only driven about 268 miles from home, the instrumentation goes out, needles and display. I-Drive System Check said all's well??? Anyway, pulled over and restarted the car - no joy, started worrying! Waited about 5 minutes and restarted again - All's well! Proceeded to complete journey.

The following day, on my way to New York, same thing, after about an hour's worth of driving. This time, it took longer than 5 minutes...roughly about 10 minutes maybe.

I have yet to read a post about this if not similar, thought I'd share it with you guys. My car has about 9k miles, Sep 03 build. Will post on results or corrective actions taken by the dealership/BMW.
