Why don't you just toggle it down and dim it?

I have, but I'm getting illuminated paddle shifters in the next month or so and the buttons on my sport wheel actually light up too. You cant really see that with the lights dimmed all the way. In all honesty, I'm just being a little picky.

With all this talk about instrument clusters, have any of your had problems with the e60 instrument cluster audio speaker in the rear of the cluster?

When I turn the blinker on, I can not hear the blinker audio and I don't know if the blinker is on.

Is this a instrument cluster speaker fault, relay fault, wire, switch or ghost in the machine?

Anyone have a few guesses to get the blinker audio operational?

i recently bought a used instrument cluster instrument cluster from a local salvage and I'm thinking about
swapping it with mine, only thing is my car has 80k miles on the odo, i was told the one i bought has 100k.
which mileage will show once i install the instrument cluster i purchased???
Just a little tidbit for you, when I got my 545 in 2012, my cluster was acting funny, like it was possessed, so I went out and got another cluster off eBay figuring my cluster was screwd as I was unable to fix it with either coding or whatever I was capable of trying with my INPA Etc. Suite.
I got the the replacement cluster and plugged it in and turned the key(did not start engine), as my problem was immediately showing up as the same with this as my original cluster so I immediately unplugged it and reinstalled my old cluster.
After 6 months of me screwing around trying to fix it finally went to my dealer and had them reprogram whole car and while I was waiting the tech came to tell me they needed to put in a new cluster.
I told them to forget it as I already had swapped the cluster and and had same problem with it so, he went back for another hour or so and car was fixed......EXCEPT for when I now read any faultcodes from N62 engine they all occur at 100000 mileage as my real mileage is still less at this point, however it is finally approached that number and am anxious to see if things will synch at that point.
Should point out though that my cluster mileage readings have always been correctly realistic, and no dot has ever appeared.
