Nice whip!! Is that the MTech body kit? How much did it cost you with paint?

Ok guys after 5 hours i managed to install the navi retro kit but i,m not getting any sound from the cd and dvd player but it reads the cd's? the radio works but there is a lot of static with the exception of a couple of statios. I'm also missing the Central instrument panel cover (51 45 310), i called BWM parts and it $250 cdn? just for that one part, can i get it anywhere cheaper? It did not come with the nav cd, is there any where i can download a copy or do i have to buyy onw? any advise will help....thx...PJ

How did you have no sound from the CD/DVD but radio works? What do you see ? FM/AM/CD and any others?

Do you logic 7 in the menu like equalizer? if so then the previous car had it. Radio should not be affected as long as you plug in the black plug into the black FAKRA connector. The radio antenna is on the rear windscreen on the Right hand side beside the 3rd brake light. You can peel out the headliner cover at the rear to check if the black connector is out by any chance.

Yes the fascia is expensive. Get 1 off EBAY and spray it matt black and it will look OEM with the cluster. NAV DVD should be readily available on EBAY for a cheap price last I checked.

it's expensive if you want it in wood or leather, but if plastic will do, you can get the correct beige/grey/black panel in plastic for a lot less. look up the parts on RealOEM or bmwfans.info

me? i got leather since i couldn't match the m5 wood otherwise. I love it!

bought it, but that will only work if you have a black interior. the //M beige and grey interiors are different colors than the beige and grey that come in the non-M cars.

you can see it a little more up close and personal in my post about the Z4 shifter:

Nice, yes I have black interior. I am also looking for the leather wrapped console but those 3 pieces costs a BOMB from the dealer.
