I've read and done research on tire sizes and saw that some people have had experiance with some sizes I'm looking into. I saw some have run the 40/35 series with 19's. I'm looking into running 245/40/19 and 275/35/19 on my next set up to get a little bit more tire. Does anyone know how these sizes will look or work on 19x9 offset 20 and 19x10.5 offset 25 wheels? Chicago roads suck so I want the extra rubber. I already know the side effects like they are not the correct size, the might rub, my speedometer will be off,so on. etc. So don't try and tell me I need 245/35 and 275/30 because those sizes suck. I need some good quality input on 40/35 series with 19's. Maybe even running a little stretch with 235/40 and 265/35. Remember 245-275 might already be stretched due to my wide rims 9 and 10.5.
Thanks for any input

Hi Andrew it looks like you've already done a bunch of research so we can get straight to the point
I would say that the 245/40/19 and 275/35/19 tires would be cutting it really close to the fenders even if you are on stock suspension. A 265 tire on a 10.5" wheel is going to be a big stretch which in turn will be even worse than driving on the recommended 275/30/19. If you decide to go with the 275/30/19 simply roll the rear fenders to avoid any possible rubbing.

Hey BMWfanatic. You should be fine since my setup is 20x9 et 18 255/30r20 front and 20x10.5 et 25 275/30r20. I've had no rubbing issues even when taking an on ramp loop at 65mph. The crazier part is according to factory specs my rears are 2.9% taller now however my speedo is now accurate instead of overstating speed.
