Default INPA ERROR CODE 6056. What?

6056 Error wheel electronic RL

Logistic counter : 40

Mileage : 171648km
Speed: 62km/h
Temperature: 12 degree C

No matching error symtom
Test conditions fulfilled
Error present now and already stored
Error would cause a warning lamp to light up
RE rear left defective: Sensor error

Do i need a new TPM sensor for my right rear wheel?

Do you have a warning in iDrive? If not, then I'd clear the code and see if it comes back. All kinds of codes get thrown and stored without affect on the car's operation.

Yep, I have TPMS malfunction, after I got my tires changed. The shop say all TPMS are fine, but the Tpm malfunction won't go away even after many resets (with proper air pressure). Is it a bad sensor?

Debug it. Change the rear left (RL in the error) wheel to another location. Reset the error in INPA. Does the error now pop up, but point to another wheel? I'm betting it will and that the sensor is messed up somehow.

If not, does that suggest my antenna is bad for the RL wheel well? Or does the antenna throw a different code.

Hmmm...if it stays RL, certainly one explanation could be the RL antenna. Havne't put much thought to other causes.

I just coded the TPMS off via NCS. Dont need it, as i check my tire pressure manually often and don't have runflat tires .
