Innermost headlights with no bulbs in USA cars?

i do have h8 hid angel lights
and i coded the h3 bulb( behind the frosty inner corner lens) to be on with the high beam..
and the halogen h3 bulb melt the lens
plain and stupid (

Probably the combined heat caused your problem, with normal angel eye I doubt you would have had a problem as these cars are desinged to work in extreme conditions.

I know two other incidents that the owners did not have HID AE (but improper coding for lci conversion) that resulted in melted cornering lens.
Edit: Actually, I went back and look at the pics Steli posted. It does appear that the headlights he has on are non AHL. Will verify with him after getting some more pics. I had assumed it was AHL since it's standard in the US, and he bought the lights in the US.

Steli sent me more pic, looks like my edit above was not necessary. His are adaptives, and the lenses just melted so terribly that it shows zero semblance of the fluted cornering lens that are on adaptive headlights.
