Normally, this would be my cruising range indicator, but all of a sudden I get this symbol:
And why does it indicate 34.2 MPH? Sometimes it switches back to cruising range, but its been on this for a while now. I checked the manual and searched the forum, but I can't seem to find that particular symbol. I haven't set anything up on the 'Onboard Info' screen in iDrive or anything else so I'm truly baffled. Why all of a sudden is it showing me this information. I want it to go back to cruising range
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Are you sure you are not hitting the "check" button on the turn signal lever when signaling left or right? I believe that symbol is the avg speed icon....and 34.2 is your avg speed
(I deduced this info from reading the manual via http://www.e60.net/information/, pdf file)
