Most likely a thermostat. Go to autozone/advance auto and have them hook up an OBD II scanner and check the trouble codes. They usually do it for free. Shouldn't be more than $100 at the dealer...

Wow, what a coincidence. I just got this this morning as well. My OBDII scanner pulled a code "p1434". I'm still trying to figure it out. I cleaned my MAF the other day and I noticed I didnt screw the hose clamp thats after the MAf tightly. I reset the code and I hope that will do the trick. I'll keep you posted.

Yeah, I was reading that thread and noticed tbal had mentioned it could have been the MAF and had remembered that I recently cleaned the MAF. I really hope that was it. I dont want to have to deal with these issues on a constant basis with this car, but I'm confident it will be alright.

If you recently cleaned it, there is a very high chance that's what it is

Did you take care not to touch the sensor itself?

Most definitely! I just sprayed the sensor and let it dry and reinstalled it. I just forgot to tighten that hose clamp. It was completely loose. Earlier, I went for a quick drive around the neighborhood and it hasn't come on again. We'll see.
