Hi guys!
Just picked up my car from service for periodic control and renewed brakes.
However I am still uncomfy with the DPF (diesel particulate filter).
After the Evotech remap, the filter is giving me a hard time, as the engine tries to push more gas out, dpf tries to keep them in, there you go, power loss ! I am stuck at 4th gear and I rev up to 4300rpm or release the gas pedal and it gears up.
I am seriously planning to get the dpf removed and/or get a whole new exhaust system.
Now here comes the questions in my head...
1- After the removal, will the car pass the emission test in MOT?
2- If not, how the hell do veeeeery old cars pass the MOT?
3- Will a complete exhaust help?
If there are people who has done this, please inform me so I don't sell my car
