I was looking through an online car sales website (mobile.de) and stumbled across this Imola Red E60 Edition Sport.
Its the first one I have found pictures of -- haven't seen any on the BMW (Used Car) website yet.

This Edition Sport is one of the new "Edition" models that BMW has release in Europe for 2008. More details are in this thread. Imola Red and Lemans Blue are the two new colours offered exclusively with the Edition Sport.

I thought (and had hoped) that Imola Red would be a little darker -- it looks different to the Imola Red E39 M5 in the picture below -- or is just the way the colour looks under different light :think:

What do you think -- does it suite the E60...??

E60 and red don't mix well.

+1 But there is this guy here in New Orleans who loves that color. He bought a brand new 545 in black and sent it straight to the body shop to be painted Imola Red. Needless to say the car stands out around town. In fact I recently ran into his wife at the dry cleaners (she was driving the car!) and we chatted, he was thinking about ordering a new car and having it painted as well...

The only Imola Red I like is an M3 Drop top. Not a five :thumbsdown:

I'm the oddball here... I wouldn't mind getting one in Imola Red.

Eh, not for me, but I could see how some would like it, think the only e60 red that looks good is the indianapolis red on the m5, I would like to see that color on a non m5 e60

-10... :thumbsdown: not feelin it at all..... if it was a darker red with gray insides maybe i would consider it....

I thought for sure I would like the E60 in red as well... until I saw one the other day. :thumbsdown: Just didn't do it justice at all!
