I sold my '04 530i less than a month ago, mostly because my warranty was ending in August 08. But after about a week without a four-seater, I realized that I badly needed one!
The search was over today, when I have made a deal on a BEAUTIFUL '05 Sapphire Black/Auburn 545i Sport with only 38K miles on it (CPO through 08/2001). Very clean car and "almost" exactly like I wanted it. Almost because it doesn't have Logic 7, but I can live without it. My 6er has it if I need it. Planning to put an M-kit on it, maybe a trunk finisher, and some bigger wheels when I get some free cash. Good to be back!
