my blank would be
Allow user re-programming - suppply the cable and software as standard
Include Bluetooth, MP3 playback, sat nav, CD multi-changer or Ipod connector as standard

And please stop coming up with hideous hybrids like the X6 and the new 5 Gran Tourismo, which I saw recently in a special tent at Goodwood FOS. Hilariously, no pictures allowed. If we want a sports car, we'll buy one - and the new Z4 actually looks well worth having. If we want (or at least need) a saloon, we'll buy that too.

Three letters.. LSD
At least as an option on every model. A 128i with sport package and LSD would be awesome.

If you could make upgrade requests to BMW what would they be? My first suggestion at the board meeting would be...
1) BMW needs to do a software upgrade that would allow you to enter the car to retrieve belongings without waking up the entire system. Right now if you unlock your door to grab your wallet it wakes up the car which drains the battery for 25 minutes. Not exactly efficient dynamics. What if you could press and hold the lock button before the unlock to tell the car to unlock the doors without waking up the car? That would allow you to get your things and then re-lock the system without draining your battery.

My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
Downloadable software updates would be nice. It seems stupid to have to go to the dealer for EVERYTHING, why can't we just download new software, put it on a flash drive and install ourselves. Leave going to the dealer to the technologically incompetent. I can download firmware for any product I have and install myself, but I need the dealer to do everything for me, c'mon BMW we're not all retards, we can do things on our own.
