I never use cruise control so for me it is a total waste. On the other hand, I would not give up the multi contour seats. The heated steering wheel is also on my must have list, along with IPOD interface and Sirius radio.

Ahh, yes, practical advice indeed.
Especially when you're in the middle of an 850 mile road trip, doing 90 miles an hour at 2:00 AM.. Yes, shutting my headlights off so that I can clean my windshield definitely seems a prudent move.
BenAnd - where's the fuse (which one), and does it control anything else? Also, will that cause any errors or warnings?

Well, I'd never want to "loose" anything, but I'd be perfectly happy to "lose" a few things.
I can live without the automatic lights, automatic wipers (rain sensor), automatic speed (cruise) control, automatic (memory) seats, automatic climate control (simple manual air-con is fine), cruise control, electric seat adjustability and sunroof. If I'd bought this car new, I would have dropped as many of those options as possible.
I would NOT live without heated seats, air-con, comfort seats and since I found out how awesome it is - the ventilated seats too.
What do I wish this car had that it doesn't ? HUD and Soft-close doors (just because they're so quiet).

+1 on the cruise control.. my foot does all the work.. i dont think ive ever used them.. dont trust it and id rather do it myself.. thats about the only option id get rid of

My Ride: 2004 jet black 530I, M-tech body kit, ac shnitzer roof and trunk spoiler. kelleners sport exhaust and pully kit on its way from germany.
I can not get give up my adaptive headlights. My daughter will kill me she loves it when i let her drive on my lap she tries to turn the wheel back and forth trying to beat it....LOL
