Seems that red calipers would make a very popular choice. I'm sure there must be a reason for that, but I really don't see the point. Why red calipers?

Porsche has it, make the feel more sporty. But then again BMW is not going to put turn signals into the side mirrors anytime soon (although is a good idea).

sporty look, but I wouldn't like it (not even on a m5). It's more for very racy cars like porsche's and ferrari's

I think red calipers would look too out of place for most E60 buyers but I do think they should powder coat (or enamel) the calipers some other color like black or gray. I don't understand why BMW doesn't pay more attention to this minor detail. They're doing it on Cadillacs now, why not BMW?

This is the same issue as to why BMW till now realize that door handles and bumpers are nicer in body colour.

Guys for a few bucks you can paint the calipers not everbody needs BREMBOS. I wud but its expensive

The indicators I never wanna see on a BMW it is only for trend cars like MB.

the paint should be deff better and more options in general ext-int. Just my 0.02.

PS: Hope they WILL read it as they are here, spying on us

The side indicator is really a good idea, but I am not going to buy a MB just because they have it.

Don't mistaken me, I love Bimmer and my E60.

Cheers

My Ride: Arrived 3 June 2005: 2005 545i - Orient Blue, Black interior, Sport, Steptronic, Cold Weather, NAV, Sirius, Logic7, Comfort Seats, Sunshades. What a glorious ride!

I like the turn signals on the ORVMs; I wish all cars had them.

My idea is to provide XM radio as a factory option alternative to Sirius. Also would like to have the active sound reduction system as in the Acura RL (but not replacing the existing soundproofing; just augmenting it).

Hmmn, where to start.

First, give me the 3 series headlights, as I don't much care for the owl eyebrow thing on the 5. Never did grow on me.

Next I would offer the car in more than monochrome (black, white, silver and shades there of) and blue. How about indy or emola red?

Then I would offer everyone around the world the same options like nasca leather, m pieces from the factory, ventilated seats, individual options, etc.

After that, I would make L7 std like it is on the much cheaper 330.

I would also allow more flexibility on the wheel choices up front instead of having to take whatever comes with a package. I think it would give buyers more of a sense of personalization.

And lastly, make all the gremlins disappear. The technology in this car, as far as audio and multimedia goes ISN'T that complicated. The aftermarket stuff I have in some of my other cars is rock solid, and for the money, a much better buy. I am sick of being a beta tester because I buy a new model year.

To that point, quit making the ones who buy the first model year suffer by introducing the more powerful engines later. I would buy a 335 now if I could. Why wait to intro it?
