iDriver faile and I'm not covered

How? unless they start adding new buttons to the old cars... I can see it for future cars but the current ones...

Its even worse for the M... you control suspension, engine power, lighting, climate thru the iDrive.

The real underlying issue here is that BMW needs to make a reliable computer for their I-DRIVE system. IMO, since the I-DRIVE plays such a central role in these cars, they should give it a 10 year/unlimited mile warranty. Seriously, how can you make a car with a central brain/computer like I-DRIVE, and then after 5 years it breaks and expect your customer to pick up the tab. It's a joke if you ask me.

The alternative is of course just make cars like they used to, without a central brain to cause issues.

My 2 cents anyway.
