So my iDrive doesn't depress anymore and scrolls very slowly and rough. Anyone ever have to replace theirs and if so how much was it or was it covered under warrenty? Thanks.

I think it retails for $50 if its only the i drive knob thats broken that should be easy... there have been used ones for sale in the for sale section... you can try the dealer... they might just claim it under warranty for you since its not a big thing and it'll keep you happy and return for future service.

i've got '04 530i, and i have same problem with idrive, it doesn't function when you press it and when you spin it, my car has 70000 miles and it's still under CPO warranty (6 years/ 100000 miles), i went to my local BMW diller, they checked it, charged me for 1 hour of labor ($125) and said that this is part of cars audio system and not covered under CPO's warranty, estimated repair cost $1100+ parts and labor.
