I am about to replace my idler pulley and tensioner after 1 year of replacing te old one. Is this a normal wear time for such an item?

I am hearing a squrching sound as if the bearings are gone it is a very familiar sound to me when I had it replced a year ago and I only had a year warranty for parts and labor. It is funny how things seem to go out right when tthe warranty ends

Yes I had City Garage to replace the 2 items to a tune of $275.00.

Are you sure it's OEM parts? Each pulley costs around 100 bucks so they only charge you 75 for installation. Why not just go ahead and order the parts and replace it yourself.
