Ice warning

My Ride: BMW 530i 05
M-technic Silvergrey whith beige dakotaleather
I dont get any ice warning even then the tempratur is below 3 celsius. Does anybody had that kind of problem

My Ride: '04 545iS 6 spd, bought new via eBay, 11/05; Blk/Gry, Cold, L7, PDC, BMW Rear seatcover for pets.
First "Bumwa" was a new 1971 2002. High performance 5s since 1987. Beamer motorcycles too, currently on an 07 BMW K1200 GT; also a Moto Guzzi 1000 SP III.
My snowflake/gong appears routinely at 37 F. (+5 over freezing).

I know it is getting a bit annoying seeing that everyday now. What's more annoying is that I have to get the frost off the windscreen every morning. (you know what it's like when you're rushing to work every morning. <_< Even a normal cheap 15 year old Ford is equiped with heated windscreen........
As I know some model is equiped with Auxilary heater which allows you to set the timer to heat the car up. Well, I'm told by the dealer ths option is not available on petrol models. < It is true???
