Yep, those are the wheels I posted above. They'll work on your car. It's really up to you, but I don't think they fit the E60 sedan very well. I'm actually not a very big fan of these wheels at all, but again, that's just my opinion. If you like them, then go for it. But see what a new set would cost you before buying them used. You'd be surprised at some of the discounts out there. Quad_m offers good pricing as does Garry Romani of BMW of Newport. You can't go wrong with either vendor.

I like the 166 or 167 wheels over those.

Member alpinewhite will reply to this thread shortly. He's really good about following up. Hang tight and check back on this thread tonight or tomorrow. I'm sure he'll have posted pix of his 525i non-sport with his 166 wheels. I think you'll like them a lot.

Thanks for your help! Yeah I like a few others better also just dont want to spend a lot of money..

I totally hear you on the money thing. But for a few hundred bucks more, you'll be happier in the end. It's worth it. Wheels make the car and spending $900 on wheels, just so you have 19's isn't ideal. Find what you like and see if you can find them used and in decent shape. You'll find something.

If you really like the 6 Series 19" wheels. There is a set for sale on Ebay with a 1000 miles on them for $500 + $150 shipping.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/19-OEM-BMW-...sspagenameZWDVW

But i have to agree with C that the 167 and 166 look much better on the 5 series. But what matters is what you like so if you like the 6 Series wheels i would say go for it.

PS. I'm not affiliated in any way with the Ebay seller.

Keep on him C with the wheels! He'll come around eventually and see the light, like I did. Won't 172's fit as well?
I don't like those wheels either that were posted in that first pic of yours. I'd go with the 167's....my favorite, along with the 172's.

Don't forget some pics once you've figured it out, and your tire search will be just as tiresome! We'll all help you out though, and don't forget to make good use of the SEARCH button. Good luck!

You are right D!

Hey bud - you can also do the 172's as well. These are the new 19" OEM wheels that are being slapped onto the LCI 550 Sports. They too, are awesome wheels. Below is a picture of what they look like. Again though, you need to post a thread like this - http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=46912&hl=, and you should find some folks that may want to sell them. I would change it to the following: WTB: M172, M166 or M167 wheels and see what turns up. I would also post this on M5Board too, since the 166 and 167 wheels are stock wheels on both of these cars. Chances are likely you may find an M5 or M6 owner that went to 20's and is willing to sell you their 166's or 167's.

Thanks I agree I like those wheels better also, I was just caught by the cost of 900 that includes tires with 95% tread on them so I saw it as a good deal....Im open to posting a wtb thread but how can I trust someone to send me what they say they are going too on here? Thanks for all your help!

Try a search for "Dennis Huang" and see what happened to him when he tried to rip off some fine folks on here.
