I want to add PDC to my e60... need help..

Hello, i want to add PDC to my e60. i got the sensors in my bumper.. thats all. i want to know what else i need to know what else do i need for them to work. The sensors have a wire on them with a blue plug at the end of them.so can anyone help. cheers

You will most likely need the following:

1 - the wiring to connect the sensor arrays to the PDC module
2 - the PDC module
3 - PDC switch on the center console
4 - coding so the graphic display shows in idrive

^^^www.realoem.com will get you the schematic views with the BMW part numbers.

There are many websites you can buy the parts from or you could search this forum, ebay, etc.
I used www.parts.com but I'm not sure if they ship to the UK. Good luck.

Thanx for all your help.. so have you put the PDC on ur car..if you dnt mind me asking what did cost you.. if you can break it down for me then i will know what kind of price i should pay for each item. cheers

^^^No I didn't retrofit PDC on my car it was ordered from the factory. I know about the parts involved because when I had the M Aero Kit installed I had to buy the older PDC sensors.

IIRC the PDC module cost about $300. The cables may already exist in your car and I'm not sure what the cost would be for the console switch and coding.
