Today I was out driving to a friends house. Cruising with my windows down, sunroof open listening to my favorite song. All of a sudden a guy driving a cable van (local tv cable company) sits back a ways to check me out. Then he moves slowly alongside me and motions to talk to me. I turn my system down and he asked, "would you get rid of your car for anything else?" I said, "No Way!" He tells me that's all he needed to hear cause he was really thinking about getting one. He then asks me if the payments are good. I just told him mine are well with in reason for what I get back from her. He smiles and we both pull off side by side. Just to let him know what he's missing, I knocked her down and looked back in my mirror to see him smiling. ya, it was a good day.

+1 I fully agree, these cars can be "tempermental" at times, but I wouldn't trade a BMW 5 series for anything else - at least not for a daily driver. I get the fuel economy of a comparable Accord or Camry, plus the driving fun of a BMW. Can't go wrong with that combo.

I certainly don't get nearly what an Accord or Camry gets. But I love the roar of a V8 at WOT. My car is worth every penny I pay for it each month (at least when it starts ).

Thanks for the feedback. As a matter of fact, I hear my 550 calling out to be sponge bathed - can't let her down now could I LOL. When my exhaust and spoilers arrive - Look out cable guy - LMAO

"I get the fuel economy of a comparable Accord or Camry"

I get that if I was driving 3 of them at the same time wherever I went
