Fixing bend rims are not very economically benefitial I think. As it will cost you $150-$200 plus shipping (2-ways), plus you'll be out of car for a while.
The wheel will not be as round or sturdy after it's been fixed, so I would recommend you buy a new set.

You can get OEM style 124 very easily on ebay, or just ask members in this board. I am sure many people, whom have upgraded to after market rims would still have a set to sell.

Or perhaps replicas may be your way to go. I don't know their quality though, so you may want to check on that first.

Good luck

Thanks everyone for your kindness.

Looks like I'm going to try and get them fixed (quoted $140.00 per rim)

JDN, It's pretty funny on the replies here vs. Roadfly!!!

I wouldn't get them fixed if I were you. On ebay you can get 4 rims with tires for around 800 bucks..

I initially tried the Ebay route and as always I was outbided. Seller was asking $900.00 for all four with tires. It closed @ $1500.00.

Also I don't see any Style 124 rims/tires combos on ebay right now.

Hubcap Tire & Wheel of N J
782 Us Highway 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902
(732) 846-8352

Ask for Doug. He charges $75/wheel I believe and can fix many bends on site.

Thanks,
Dave

Perhaps invest in some OEM rims for your next purchase.? OEM rims can be bent too, but should be much sturdier than replicas.?

Or some nice aftermarket wheels.

The OEM rims are BBS cast aluminum. If you get aftermarket, and don't mind paing a steep price, you can get forged rims that are much stronger. I slammed into a curb head-on with mine and no damage whatsoever.

I agree new wheels might be a better idea. Steel wheels are more easily fixed, but I just can't escape the thought that, for an alloy wheel, I would have caused microscopic cracks or other structural problems, that would only appear later, or cause loss of pressure later, etc. You can't complain later to the guys who fixed your wheels, because I assume they warn you that all wheels leak, crack, etc.
