Well I really did it this time.

I was changing lanes to exit the highway in the pouring rain, and I drove right over the exit curve and bend a FOUR of my OER Style 124 rims.

Does anyone know if they can be fixed and where (I'm in NJ)

You can see the damage on each wheel if you look closely on the inside lip. It doesn?t look that bad but the whole car wobbles when I drive it.

I?m so depressed right now.

Perhaps invest in some OEM rims for your next purchase. OEM rims can be bent too, but should be much sturdier than replicas.

Or some nice aftermarket wheels.

sorry to hear that :'(. but if you look at the bright side, it's a good excuse for you to upgrade the wheels w/o hearing the music from your wife/gf . i think you can call your insurance company and ask for their advice. or you can simply send a letter to the dept of transportation or whatever dept is taking care of the roads. if you can show the damage and location, i think they'll pay for the repair or a new set of wheels. but it'll take looooong time. good luck .

You should also have your suspension checked.

Oh boy, my stomach tightened just reading and thinking about the feeling and the noise. I am truly sorry to hear about this. Was the exit marked well, paint, lights, sign or was it just raining that hard?

I find it interesting that jmnieves got five replies to this message at this point while only getting one reply to the identical post on RoadFly in the same time frame. Says a lot for the difference in the two forums.
