I was minding my own business around 65MPH on? 84 Going West (Poughkeepsie, NY, USA) -- going toward NYC.

Suddenly, I turned my head to the letf and somebody passed me doing around 100MPH. I could barely see the tail. I took a deep breath..look to the left, look to right..look back everywhere to see if i could smell a tropper (bad move..i know? ). I took a chance and pushed the Pedal to the medal. I am not kidding. My tutle E60/525 reached 120MPH? in a wurry. I catched up the guy who passed me by. It was a 'dark grey 545'. He was doing? like 100mph and i passed him? while i was doing 120mph. He turned his head just to see who was zooming by him too.

Oh well..after all she (my tutle 525) is not as slow as i thought she was. Will I do it again? Nope, I am in the process of becoming a USA citizen. I need to behave. Any little thing i do wrong with the law can be against me.? ?

Hitting 120 mph in USA? You're not risking your American citizenship, you're risking to spend all your future summer holidays in sunny Guantanamo

If you are speeding on a clear road, during the day... with no traffic.... the cop is liable to just give you a warning. Pulling over someone doing 140 means a LOT of work. They have to arrest you on the spot, normally. Most cops don't like the hassle of all that work.

Just tell them you HAD to see what your car could do. They just might understand.

If the road is busy, that's a different story. That's far more unsafe.

In NYC it's called reckless driving, your car will be seized and you WILL be locked up. Depending on the Highway cop, and if he's with or near a Boss your ass is grass!
