However, i am EXTREMELY picky so i'd first have to know the worksmanship tech does. I do not just let anyone touch anything of mine. I find it hard to trust that someone will take the time to treat something as if its their own. Most will give you shit work and that's why I end up doing everything myself anyway.....people are just not good enough for me..so i've been told.
Haha..I'm exactly the same way. I don't like people touching any of my stuff. Unfortunately, I do not have the tools or the knowledge to work on the Bimmer, so I have to trust him. He is a BMW Certified tech, so I know he knows what he's doing, I have no other option other than to trust him....unless I want to pay big $$$ for the same job.

How many clicks do you have on yours when you changed the shocks? Did they fail or was it just a preventive maintenance?

I'm at 80k miles and my front right strut is leaking, causing my car to dip by a 1/4" on that side. Finally got a quote - both struts and upper control arm bushings need to be replaced for a bit over $1k. I'm trying to figure out if it's worth doing on my own...
