Of course.... this is no more than two days after I spent an afternoon washing, claying, waxing, and overall super-cleaning my car. And the bugs aren't the little ones either. They're the big thick and gooey ones that stick, smear and streak everywhere.

I remember this well, that is the main reason I will never own another black car again. Black cars look soooo good when they are claen, but KEEPING them clean is another story.

The pollen in the mid-atlantic states is horrible ... and not much rain to knock it out of the sky
Keeping monaco blue is enough of a problem but black has to suck! Even though a good coat of wax helps I've already gone through a half gallon of detail spray in a week - the stuff doesn't blow off either

A 1-minute hose off will make it 100% better....obviously not as good a a fersh wash...but a LOT better. I own (5) black cars and live in Alabama...and the pollen is really bad. In the afternoon, I take the hose and do a quick top to bottom rinse off. It helps a lot.

There are only two days that I've enjoyed all the black cars I've owned. The day I bought them and the day I sold them.
Nothing looks as good as a detailed black car but if you plan on driving it what a nightmare. I feel your pain man. I try hard not to buy black anymore. I just can't deal with the hassle!

That's nothing. Drive your car down in Alabama - the bugs down there sound like rain drops when they hit it.

Sorry your car got rocked by nature my man. Just give her a regular wash and have a California Duster handy. When the spring is over clay her again.

I've been driving this one for the past 4.5 years...it takes a little effort to keep clean...but it can be done...the key is to never let it get too bad. Also, a good wax job on the front bumper and mirrors helps with the bug removal.
