Sorry to hear about "Zorba". RIP.
We've got 3 dogs ourselves...

The car can be fixed, good luck with the repairs and keep us posted

i am so sorry for your loss of your dog.. im almost in tears just reading this.. it is incredibly hard when you have them since babies.. how old was he when you put him down? i know smaller dogs tend to live longer lives, but i see he was sick.. again im sorry.. nothing will comfort you much right now, but if it helps alot of us are dog lovers and totally understand your pain and hurt...

p.s he looked like a little cutie

It's amazing how Zorba put your small car accident into perspective, who knows HOW upset you would have been about it otherwise? My condolences for your loss of Zorba, I'm sure he's no longer suffering, which is all one could want for him.

We only know how much we love someone when they're not there. When the car is running fine, it's not given a second thought - but a single iDrive error and there go the lights. The same is true for our animal friends -- Zorba is happier and at peace now and you did the right thing. Cherish the memories and the happiness - in that, he lives on.

My best to you - good luck with the repairs.

Sorry about your dog man. I used to mock people who got so attached to pets but we got a cavalier king charles spaniel a couple years ago and now I'd be all torn up if the little guy got sick and died. Car not so much just get it fixed, no biggie.

I'm pretty sure the dog situation is worse. I couldn't imagine having to put down either of my dogs. I love em so much. Sorry it had to come to this.

About the car, that sucks too, but it'll be fixed and good as new. Sucks that young drivers had to screw it up for you. I'm 20, and while I can get crazy on an open road, in a parking lot or small space where other people's cars are parked, I'm extra careful for both mine and their sake.

Cars come and go, but great dogs last a lifetime.

I'm sorry for the loss of your furry friend. I put down my 16 year old black lab last November, and not a day passes that I dont mourn her loss. I'm dealing with a 15 year old Golden Retriever right now with cancer. Never an easy call.

Sorry it was a tough week.
