Finally, I got my 535D last Friday. I drove up to know about 800 km (500 miles).
First conclusions:
- very silencious -> much better than my former E500
- the dynamic drive and the active steering are realy a must (I test drove a 530 D without a week before and it was far less acurate
- same for the comfort seats -> much better than the sport and the standard seats in terms of pain in the back
- very powerfull engine as good as the Mercedes V8, nearly also no vibrations (far better than the 530D)
- Idrive OK but my profesional navigation do not display all countries but only Germany, Denmark, and 2 others. The other as France, Belgium can be reached under Europe
Am I the only one?
- consumption about 8 l from Paris to Brussels at speed between 120 and 160 km/h
- my RFT tyres are Goddyear NCT5 (very silencious) in 245/45/17/W, but why are they supplier RFT if you aford the optional spare wheel.
The only negative point is the rear suspension which is preaty hard compared to the front. I do not know if it come from the very high tyre pressure (from 2,6 bar to 3,2) 2,7 bar. May be it is due to the cold temperature we have just below freezing?

Re NAV Prof. It is very strange. As far as I know everywhere we get DVD with detailed maps of the whole of Westren Europe. Or you are speaking about some East European countries like Slovenien and Croatia where you have only major autoroutes.
BTW have you got winter tyres from BMW or you change them subsequently?

I mean Western European countries. I can have access to evry country but mostof them are grouped under Europe but not Germany, Denmark, CZ and one more which are namely listed. It is strange.
My NCT5 are summer tyres. In Paris unlesse we drive in snowy regions, we cannot amortise winter tyres for a few snowy days.
By the way refering to a former question I thinck you kindly answerd regaring the central armrest, I can can confirm it is leasther covererd wit the exclusive leather option.

2. It is only the central leather armrest or anything else compared to standard covers set-up?
