......Need I say any more! The drive is great, comfort seats incredible. I-drive not a problem.. despite all the press criticism.
Hope to post pics soon!
I have one observation though......
The passenger airbag indicator is no longer there. This means by default a child is not allowed to sit in front unless you turn off the airbag (Cost for BMW to do). If you do this then - no airbag for adult front passenger. Has anyone else noticed this or anything else on post week 9 cars... or was it changed earlier.
It is obviously safer to put children in the back - but this forces the issue. Maybe they changed it because for adults and children around the weight limit/trigger the airbag would be intermittently on/off.
The Manual also does not have any reference to passenger seat sensor/airbag, so I can only assume it his no longer there & not moved.
Any comments? I this a Euro thing or US too?

Most BMW's have passenger seat sensors, but it was a new thing in the E60 to have a light that showed when it was off.
Im shure it still has the sensor, just like all the others
EDIT: I only saw now you are from the UK. I think the light is only in USA cars, I have not seen it here or in the UK

The light is for US only, but there is a sensor in the seat. It turns the arbag on automatically when a passenger is detected.
