i think most people you see on the streets would love your car the way it looks, but at the end of the day, the only opinion that matters is your own. you're selling yourself short if you build a car for other people, so if you don't like it, change it. personally, i don't like black face wheels at all, so it wouldn't matter what color you paint the lip, but that's up to you.

I think it actually looks pretty good with your Titanium Silver car, but if it keeps bothering you then you can always get the lips painted later. Those are still some very nice wheels

I'm not a fan of the set up personally...but it has nothing to do with the chrome lips. Maybe u could concentrate ur efforts on getting the wheel faces pained hyper silver...that might look a million times better than black IMO.
In regards to calling chrome lips ghetto...I strongly disagree. We are a community of differing opinions though. I personally have chrome lips on my silver faced wheels...4" up front and 5" out back. I love it. But I'm also from the Midwest where most cars with custom wheels are on chrome exclusively. I'm not ghetto or even in the ghetto...I get tons of compliments too. So to each his own...
Good luck w/ the rest of ur wheel mods!

My Ride: 2008 550i. Murdered. Carbon Black. Painted tail lights, M5 trunk spoiler. RS Technik 15mm spacers (rear). Black 172's.
Are we fishing for compliments? Your car looks great. We definitely see a lot of the black face/chrome lip, but by no means does it look ghetto. You do have a lot going on. Maybe streamline it a bit. Maybe powdercoat those exhaust tips black. I don't think you would have done all this to your car if you had a feeling it one day might look ghetto...

I think it looks good and I dont do chrome. I say if you are going to paint anything, paint the face gunmetal or lighter.
