Just to experimenting something new, I bought, on e-bay, a CD called: Repair & Service Manual for BMW 3,5,6,7,8,Z & X Series.
I installed today, the release is not so "fresh" (02-2004), but there is a huge amount of information.
Here it follows a printscreen as an example on a well discussed matter on this Forum

If someone should be interested in this mine of information with a lot of drawings and diagram let me know.
I have no sufficient storing space (600 M
in public domain, if someone have space I can upload .iso or better, for me, .nrg (nero) file of the entire Cd.
Otherwise I'm available to burn it and send to interested people (only postage and Cd support cost required).
In this week my new car is in manufacturing process, at least I hope and trust on my dealer information.

ricky, welcome to the TIS world.
The complete air conditioning smell bulletin was referenced in .pdf format in this post and the complete battery disconnect .pdf was included in this post (as well as some others.)
You'll have a blast looking through all the technical stuff with the TIS disc but keep in mind that screen prints could get pretty cumbersome if you're posting something lengthy.
Have fun!

Are you sure that your dealer will send discrepancies as suggested...? <_<
All squared box around text are hyperlink mark in order to reach quickly other pertinent information.

It's easier to address specifc requests and then allow people to do searches or simply reply with a link to the originals for some of the frequently requested information.
(Today, it seems as if ricky is having fun with his new toy and posting things he finds fascinating.)

TIS means "Technical Information System"
P.S. Let me know where save CD, if you "own" public space, in .iso or .nrg format and I will do
