Well I picked up my 2007 530i a couple of days ago. It is Silver Gray/Gray Leather. After a couple of days now all I can say is what a car. The acceleration is really impressive as is the way it handles. I love the bluetooth interface and Logic 7 sounds great. All in all I am very pleased with my decision and look forward to eating up many more miles to come, now if I could just find a way to keep this vehicle under 70mph so I don'l loose my license.

Congratulations!

70 mph? You can run it a lot faster than that, even during the break-in period...

Welcome to our little family! If you read the fine print in your owner's manual you will discover that all BMW's stall at speeds under 70 mph.....so keep those rev's up high.

Glad to hear you're happy with your choice.
You can still have a lot of fun getting to 70mph - and I'm sure there are a couple of quiet stretches of motorway for a little more...

Enjoy!

Cheers

Congrats! You've made a fine choice. I know how you can stay under 70. set the MAX limit to 69 and once you hear it ding keep your foot OFF the gas... now you just need to follow the advice.

Got it. Maybe I'm just too used to forum members talking about how they raced someone and blew past them in the 150mph range. It was the first post I've ever seen from someone who was worried about going over 70. ;-)

THanks for all the well wishes. I am not worried about going over 70mph, just saying how hard it is to keep it under 70 in such zones that are 45 and 55. Looking forward to opening this baby up on the open road. The smile I have read so much about on people's faces after driving their 5 is now on me.
