A $500 Dinan software tune will also get rid of the lag and optimize shift points especially in sport mode. Dumping the run flats for a nice set of Michelin Pilots will blow you away. You think the car is awesome now...

very nice ride! I know the feeling, I picked up my '06 550i about 18 months ago, and I still smile every time I get in and push the start button. enjoy

Congrats I just got a 550 last month as well with all the options except night vision. I have already got the modding bug and have started researching and installing some mods on my own. I can't wait for this snow to end in the Northeast so I can drive it more.
