I am coming to this forum for some input between these 2 cars. Right now I drive a 330CI and the lease is coming up in 2 weeks and cant decide between the 2007 BMW 530XI or a 2006 Mercedes S500 with the sport package.I do not like the 2007 S class at all. So thats out. It really is driving me crazy. I need some advice. Anybody please..

No brainer, 2006 S500. Of course, you will have to pay for all the maintenance since it isn't a BMW after all.

OR, why not go with a 2007 750?

This is one beautiful car. But it is on ebay. Very risky. Check local certified cars from MB dealers. They sell for only about $5K more but with extended warranty and at least some garantee that it was not a problem car. BTW these cars had been heavily discounted by Mercedes. Something like $10-12K in insentives. Base models sold for around $72K new.

The second car is priced like where CPO cars are. Get a CPO.

Be VERY careful with ANY used car right now. Make sure you get a legit Carfax. There are lots of restored Katrina flood damage cars being resold right now.

Thanks guys with all your responses. I am still tossed up. I think I might go with the Benz just because I have always wanted one. I just dont like the fact that I have to buy a used one. BTW_I did search all my local Benz dealers and nobody had one in stock that I liked..
